4 Module Online Course - Yoga for Scoliosis

Do you want to learn how to practice yoga safely for your scoliosis? Do you want to learn how to manage symptoms of pain and discomfort associated with scoliosis? Do you already practice yoga but want to learn how to adapt it specifically for your scoliosis?

This course is open to both beginners and anyone who already practices yoga. Teachers who have scoliosis themselves will also greatly benefit from this course.

In every module we will have a lecture part and a practice part. You will be sent weekly videos, a practice sheet to record your progress and will have access to a private Facebook group where you can ask your questions and share experiences with other course participants. At the end of every week we meet for Q&A / practice.

By the end of the course you will have a personal home practice in place to suit your individual curvature!

    About Me

    I had been suffering from back ache since I was a teenager. Due to my left lumbar scoliosis I spent a lot of time (and money) seeing physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors. I was hoping that they would "fix" me! I found those therapies to be helpful but nothing created a lasting effect. 

    I gravitated to yoga 15 years ago and made it my mission to pass on the benefits of yoga to others going through the same thing. I'm a certified Yoga for Scoliosis teacher (studying with teachers such as Elise Miller Browning and Judith Hanson Lasater).  I have taught students from all over the world and of all ages that suffer from scoliosis.

    FAQ

    Can I do this course if I have a fused spine?

    This course is suitable if you have a fused spine. Some poses will have to be adapted and there are extra videos to talk you through this. Make sure to attend the live sessions if you are unsure about any poses.

    What if I can't attend the sessions?

    To get the most out of the course make sure to attend one live Q&A session. Not to worry if you can't however. You will receive a recording.

    What is zoom?

    Zoom is an online conferencing software. All you need is a PC with inbuilt or external microphone and webcam or you can simply join from your smart phone or tablet.

    How much experience do I need?

    This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn yoga for scoliosis. It is suitable for complete beginners.

    I'm currently running the sessions every 6 months but I'm always tweaking and improving so the price will go up.
