Even though yoga can help to release tension I find myself occasionally with sore muscles. Especially if I’ve practiced Ashtanga Yoga or have been working on my handstands!

When I met Alessandra de Gregoria from Terre Verdi a few weeks ago in London I was really impressed by her knowledge of essential oils and her passion for natural beauty products! I also really admire women who started up their own businesses while bringing up kids and love hearing their stories!

The idea for starting up her business came while Alessandra was pregnant with twins and found that most products were full of chemicals and preservatives. She then decided to create her own range of products inspired by essential oils found in her childhood home of Sicily. This passion quickly grew into a successful and award winning business!

All of Terre Verdi’s products contain really carefully sourced ingredients, are 100% organic and vegan.

After using the oil a few times I found that it really helped the muscle tension! It contains ginger and black pepper along with other 100% natural ingredients that help to moisturise the skin and delay signs of ageing (we like that)!

I love essential oils and am always amazed at how powerful they are. Ginger can help to improve circulation, helps with inflammation and pain and black pepper soothes muscles and joints after exercise.
