David Melrose – Osteopathy

The good thing with David Melrose is that you don't have to compromise as he uses different techniques from Osteopathy, Chiropractic and Kinesiology. He is a very experienced Osteopath and Medical Herbalist and spent 10 years treating road traffic accident victims in Harley Street.

In 1953 his father, John Melrose, founded the Aston Clinic which continues to run from both New Malden and Harley Street.

I had a 40 minute consultation and treatment with David because my left leg and right arm were giving me trouble. Usually yoga helps me to release aches and pains but sometimes my body just needs a little more I find.

David is certainly very knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint areas of weakness in my body that I wasn't aware of.

Sometimes pain and discomfort in the body can show up in areas where the actual cause might not be. I have found this to be especially true for people suffering from scoliosis, which is in itself not painful but can cause pain as the body has to adjust to the imbalance.

The same seemed to have been true for my little problem as with a few clicks and manual treatment I felt a lot more balanced than before. I do have to say that I am not a fan of the clicking but if it helps I can't complain I guess!

I would definitely recommend paying David Melrose a visit if you are looking for an experienced Osteopath in the area!

What is Osteopathy and how can it help?

"Osteopathy is a philosophy of healthcare that acknowledges that the living body is a self-renewing, self-regenerating, self-recuperating system which maintains health constantly throughout life. Whenever that health-maintaining system is compromised, symptoms or disease could develop. Osteopathy is concerned with that which has compromised health rather than the resulting condition." - Osteopathic Allicance

Osteopathy can help with a wide range of symptoms, injuries and chronic conditions.

  • muscle aches and pains
  • joint pain
  • sciatica
  • sports injuries
  • neck tension
  • persistent pain
  • arthritis
  • hip and pelvis problems

... just to name a few.
