After two wonderful weeks in the South West of France I’m finally back on my blog and have got a little treat for you!

Yes I’ve been to the beach every day, drinking lots of good wine (that’s allowed on holiday!) and eating lovely food… but I’ve also been working very hard with my geeky husband who is very good at taking beautiful photos, filming and video editing! He is the one who goes on and on about the latest technical equipment, lighting, best angles and aperture which usually goes straight over my head but he certainly knows what he is talking about!

We have created a 20 minute yoga practice video which is aimed at anyone who is new to yoga or who just wants a gently and short practice. I have kept it really simple and hopefully easy to follow so am really hoping that you find it useful!

It’s filmed in my mother-in-laws garden and if you watch you will probably spot the cat who was always close by while I was filming!

I would love for you to try it out when you have a spare half hour to yourself (I know, it’s hard!) and let me know what you think!

  1. I had been doing yoga since a while and its great. It does not matter whether you can fold forwards and touch your toes or whether you simply bend your knees and bend an inch forward, you are breathing and moving and will reap the benefits.

    1. Absolutely! I completely agree with you! You don’t have to be flexible to start yoga… but you can be certain that it will increase your flexibility!

  2. This is brilliant. I do yoga at home and have done for about a year now. I’m too nervous to go to a class at the moment and use an app on my ipad. The app just goes from pose to pose though and doesn’t show you how to move into them through a sequence. I’m going to log off and try this now! 😀 xxx sundaystars

  3. Sounds like you had an amazing holiday! This video is great – I used to practise yoga 5 times in a time before children and this is a great beginners guide. Will give it a go during a nap time lol #sundaystars

  4. This video is brilliant. I love yoga and always like to try following new yoga workouts. Plus, I love the cat running around in the background. It makes the film even better. Thanks for linking to #SundaysStars. Hugs Mrs H xxxx
