Chakras are energy centres in the body. They are aligned along the spine and when they are out of balance we can either have too much of that particular chakra energy or too little.<\/p>\n<p data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Today we are going to focus on the Root Chakra &#8211; Muladhara Chakra in Sanskrit. It is located at the base of the spine and is represented by the colour red. It is often considered to be the most important chakra that needs to be aligned in order to be able to work with any chakras that are located above.<\/p>\n<p data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Let&#8217;s think of it as the foundation of a house. If the foundation is unstable then the whole house will be unstable and probably eventually collapse. It&#8217;s the same with our foundation. This is feeling safe, feeling secure. Feeling connected. Trusting our bodies.<\/p>\n<p data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">If you feel like you&#8217;re daydreaming a lot but don&#8217;t actually get things done this could be a sign that you should work with the Muladhara Chakra.<\/p>\n<p data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Muladhara Chakra<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Colour: Red<\/li>\n<li data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Sound: LAM<\/li>\n<li data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Yoga Poses: e.g. Childs Pose, Downward Dog but really any poses when we focus on our connection with the ground<\/li>\n<li data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Mudra: Earth Mudra, ring finger and thumb<\/li>\n<li data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">Yantra: Four Petal Lotus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love working with chakras in my classes. It is located at the base of the spine and is represented by the colour red. Trusting our bodies.&nbsp;<\/p><p data-default=\"Enter your text here...\"><span style=\"font-size: 25px;\" data-css=\"tve-u-15e72a65193\">Signs for Muladhara imbalance:<\/span><\/p><ul><li class=\"\" data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">You're daydreaming a lot but don't actually get things done&nbsp;<\/li><li class=\"\" data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">You feel stuck or disconnected<\/li><li class=\"\" data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">You feel scared and insecure but are not sure why<\/li><li class=\"\" data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">You have difficulties letting go<\/li><li class=\"\" data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">You have difficulties to commit to someone or something<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 25px;\" data-css=\"tve-u-15e72b97f1b\">Physical Signs<\/span><\/p><ul><li>skeletal problems<\/li><li>sciatica<\/li><li>problems with legs and feet<\/li><li>problems with teeth<\/li><li>bowel problems<\/li><\/ul><p data-default=\"Enter your text here...\">A simple way to work with the Muladhara Chakra could be a walking meditation. Mindfully walking, preferably barefoot either inside or outside and really paying attention to making contact with the ground.
