My Non-Negotiables List

I’ve been tagged by the lovely Mum Amie to write my non-negotiables list which has been inspired by the Pouting in Heels beautiful post The list every woman needs to have (or make). As pretty much everything that Kate aka Pouting in Heels does or writes about is extremely inspiring I’m obviously making sure I’m getting my non-negotiables list done very quickly!

I’m a big believer in vision boards and things like the “law of attraction” and I know from myself that what I write down will usually happen or get done! Honestly, it’s very powerful!

So here is my non-negotiables list.

1. I will take at least 10 minutes every day for meditation – non-negotiable

2. I will get an eye-lash tint every 4-6 weeks – non negotiable

3. I will not accept any negative “you can’t do this”, “you’re not good enough for that” monkey mind chatter from my ego – non-negotiable

4. I will make sure I get enough sleep, even if it means going to bed at 8pm (this is usually dependent on my kids so I’m looking at it over the course of a week rather than getting 8 hours sleep a night which doesn’t often happen) – non-negotiable

5. I will go on a proper holiday (visiting relations doesn’t count) with my family at least once a year – non-negotiable

6. I will look after my health, eat well and drink enough water – necessary and non-negotiable

7. I will practice yoga daily, even if it’s for 5 minutes – non-negotiable

8. I will make time for a good conversation which is not about the kids with my husband once a week (preferably over a glass of wine) – non-negotiable

9. I will accept without judgement that I don’t have to be perfect – non-negotiable

Right, over to you now! Have you made your list yet? I do think that it’s something that everyone, including my husband (should you be reading this) needs in their life so would encourage you to get it down on paper as soon as you can!

So I’m tagging

Californian Mum (because you will have some fabulous things to say)

It’s Mostly Okay (because I’m sure you will love this)

Mama and More (because you will inspire us)

Modern Dad Pages (because we need a man’s perspective)

Wood for the Tress (because this is your thing ;-))

If you would like to pass on the torch than do link back to Kate’s fabulous post and this one and let us know your non-negotiables! I look forward to reading about the things that matter to you the most, that make you happy and that you will not compromise on!
