This photo was taken on our journey to Germany last week. We took the ferry from Dover to Dunkirk which was great to break up the long journey a little bit! There is a playground and a TV corner on the boat so the kids spent most of the two-hour transfer there but before we still managed to capture this lovely moment when they looked out of the window to see the cliffs of Dover.
…actually I think Leo was licking the window at that moment and Maya was kissing her own reflection but it’s much more magical to think that they were admiring the sea and the scenery! It’s definitely my favourite picture of the journey!
Oh and by the way, if you ever take the ferry take a packed lunch because you will find Central London hotel prices (not quality) on the boat!
Ha! I prefer your version of events too! The White Cliffs of Dover are pretty spectacular and it’s fab you have captured it to show them later. Thank you for the great tip re: the ferry too x
You can’t see their faces but I imagine they were pretty amazed at the sight in front of them. Such a cute captured moment of your voyage. Hope you had a great time in Germany. Thanks for linking up xxx
Love this…as we were travelling from Dover to Calais just the day before yesterday and I got some similar pictures of the kids and cliffs! There is nothing like the White Cliffs of Dover is there? #MyCapturedMoment
Haha yes I prefer your version of events, lovely shot hope you had a great time x
We did! Now preparing for the journey back tomorrow! X
Great photo, it’s very easy to believe they were looking at the sights! We’ve never been on a ferry, my youngest is mad keen to go on one though 🙂
It was quite exciting for the kids! Doubt they were bothered about the cliffs though 😉
Lol! That sounds more like it, but it is a lovely shot nonetheless 🙂 #mycapturedmoment
Thank you 🙂

You’re welcome! We were a little more clever on the way back and packed some sandwiches! X

Thank you! X
Well, they’re still focused on what they’re doing and I bet they enjoyed the view in front of them too! A really lovely moment. #MyCapturedMoment
Thank you! The moment didn’t last very long but it was nice to see 🙂
The White Cliffs of Dover is a Beautiful sight. I can recall being enthraled at the sight many years ago myself.
