My Captured Moment – 1982

Sorry not the best quality image as it’s a photo of a photo but it’s one of my favourite childhood pictures!

I’m the one on the right in case you were wondering, absolutely screaming my head off, going down a huge slide on an adventure playground in my home town Bonn! I must have been about two and a half years or nearly three so the same as my little daughter now. 

On the left is my cousin who was always a bit braver than me and in the middle is my mum who was ridiculously young (22) and had an interesting early-eighties-fashion haircut! 

I wanted to take my daughter to this playground in Germany last summer but unfortunately it doesn’t exist any more! Would have been so much fun to go down the slide with her. I’m sure she would have enjoyed it more than I apparently did (even though those could have been screams of delight rather than screams of terror)!
