For those of you who have read my recipe of the Tropical Green Smoothie know that I’m a fan of making juices and smoothies to get anything healthy into my kids who mainly love eating pasta and pizza…So here is my little experiment with wheatgrass. I was really excited when IndigoHerbs sent me a few of their products to try, including some wheatgrass powder as it’s so easy to use and so healthy! I have tried many combinations but I’m sharing this particular recipe because it was an absolute winner and the kids were fighting over the smoothie!
So first of all some healthy facts about wheatgrass:

I tried wheatgrass juice/extract on its own I didn’t like it too much but you could just drink a single shot, but I much prefer this, sounds lovely!
yes wheatgrass is pretty disgusting which is good to mix it with yummy fruit!
i have to try it with my son 😀
i have been a bit worried about trying wheat-grass as a few people mentioned its taste wasn’t up to much but this way i think i could finally try it

Will give this one a go. Good to hide the wheatgrass taste under fruit
